Full Armor Gundam from Thunderbolt Gundam Manga Continued

The FA Gundam Thunderbolt is close to completion! Only the application of the decals remain. So far the look of the kit do give a feel of maximum power to deal damage with the firepower at hand. I am pretty satisfied with the kit so far.

GBF GUNDAM EXIA DARK MATTER HG 1/144

Next up, Gundam Exia Dark Matter from the GBF series.
The modified version of the completed form of Gundam Amazing Exia, the Gundam Exia Dark Matter is created for the sole purpose of defeating Reiji and Sei Iori. It is used together with a special headgear containing an improved Embody System developed by the Flana Institute. Gundam Exia Dark Matter's look and weaponry is changed from its predecessor, it is now equipped with the Brinicle Blade and Prominence Blade for close combat, a Dark Matter Rifle for ranged combat, and two GN vulcans which can also emit beam sabers. The suit also has a back-mounted support unit, the Dark Matter Booster which provides it with two Dark Matter Blades and is capable of functioning independently.

Gundam Build Fighters HG 1/144 Miss Sazabi

Latest kit to join my completed list is the Miss Sazabi from the Gundam Build Fighters.
It is a customized Gunpla owned by Aila after she defected from Nemesis, it is built according to her experience in Gunpla Battle and with some help from China Kousaka. Modified from the MSN-04 Sazabi from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, Miss Sazabi has a more feminine look, a new coloring, new leg-mounted thrusters, and back-mounted thrusters which are derived from Sazabi's shoulders. As a result of these modifications, the unit has become lighter, but still retains the powerful thrust of the original Sazabi.

Gundam Build Fighters Qubeley Papillon HG 1/144

Another GBF kit has been completed. That is the Qubeley Papillon from the Gundam Build Fighters. This kit is a bit bigger when you compare to the other kits in the series. A pity that it does not come with the transparent funnels as shown in the show.

Why Gundam Build Fighters is the best place to start watching Gundam

Source: AFA Channel

Ever since its first televised appearance in 1979, Gundam has gone on to become a worldwide phenomenon and one of the most popular anime franchises of all time.  In 2013, Sunrise announced an interesting take on Gundam as part of its 35th Anniversary.
That would be Gundam Build Fighters (GBF), a new series involving kids competing against each other with their own customized Gunpla! Many anime fans of different walks of life will be able to easily enjoy GBF and jump onto the Gundam bandwagon.
So why would GBF be the best place to start watching Gundam from scratch?

Point 1: ALL the Gundams from ALL the Generations!

As GBF is a celebration of all things Gundam, then it must have appearances from all Gundam series right?
Throughout the entire series, you will see various cameo appearances from multitudes and multitudes of mobile suits from the 35 years of history. You may be able to recognise the more obvious ones from the TV series but there will also be appearances from the more obscure Gundam side stories, mangas, photo-novels and even games such as Extreme Gundam, S Gundam and Gundam Aesculapius.

GBF Sengoku Astray HG 1/144

I have just finished up on the Sengoku Astray Gundam from the Gundam Build Fighters series. This is one of the more popular ones from the show. The kit really exhibits a samurai warrior type of feel.

GUNDAM BUILD FIGHTERS - Episode 25: Promise (Final episode)

Finally Gundam Build Fighters has come to an end with its final episode airing yesterday. The final episode did not disappoint Gunpla fans with a large array of Gunpla making their appearances. The series does have its critics with the main one that is saying the it is just a show to sell Bandai's products. I do agree that the one of the show's main aim is to sell products. But while it is doing so, it does it in an engaging fashion. I would safely say that most of us Gunpla fans truly enjoyed the series as we can really relate to the series in terms of Gunpla building. Not to mention the numerous cameos from the various characters from the previous Gundam series.
Below are some stills from the episode:
