Beargguy meets Zhao Yun!

I've been busy with work for the past few days which explains why I have not been blogging recently. My busy schedule also contributed to me not working on any models recently. Hopefully I can start on something during the weekend. Will be setting up a stall at a flea market during the weekend. Think that it will be quite fun going by past experiences.
Anyway decided to play with this two recently completed models before I keep them in boxes to protect them from the dust.

After playing with them a bit, now really got the drive to go ahead with  completing another model.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day has just passed. Hope everyone had a good time. For me, it was time for a gift exchange between my GF & me. She got me a watch. It is a sweet gesture as my current one has a lot  of battle scars. Hehe, I can't seem to take good care of my stuff. Luckily she do not encourage me to buy flowers during this period as they are really expensive. So I make it up by sending them on other occassions such as birthday.

This time I got a gold bracelet for her. I found it very cute when I came across it and she has been wanting to get one for quite some time already.

It seems that Beargguy is excited about showing off the loot.

WIP - Three Kingdoms Zhao Yun Part 4 Final (Gallery)

I finally reached the end of my Three Kingdoms Zhao Yun project. Although this is not my first experience with a China-made kit, I am still overall impressed by the improvements in their quality. Although it is still not perfect, it is still an improvement from the kits a couple of years ago. Now I just put some of the pics taken although not many poses can be made due to the fragile kit.

Now to continue on the next stage of the Zhao Yun kit. Finally complete this kit. But a bit disappointed by my choice of colour schemes I guess. Will definitely take note next time.

Finally completed this kit. What originally was a distraction during the CNY holidays turned out to be an obssession. The kit is a bit fragile though. Will post some pics in a gallery format next.

WIP - Three Kingdoms Zhao Yun Part 2

After a day of inactivity, its back to the work at the Zhao Yun kit. Wanted to finish it as soon as possible to see how it will look like.

 Now as much as i hate to do this, I have to leave the rest for another day. Painting really takes up a lot of time and energy. I think it will most probably be one more session away to being completed.
