SD Galore!

I have been too busy to embark on any projects. I told myself I had to at least do a new post. So I rummage through my collection and came out with some SD kits which I had done for the past few years. Hehe, really bring back some memories.

Firstly I introduce the SD Wing Zero Custom Gundam. It is one of my favourite Gundams of all time mainly due to the wings.

First look at it ~~

A closer look, ahhh~~

Add the big guns

Do I look cool or what .~

The iconic pose as in the OVA

Look! It comes with Heero's figure

This was one of my first SD kits quite a number of years ago. Cannot really remember the name actually. But I really like the simplicity of the design and the hair style even.

That is one big club

Wonder how much gel does he need to keep the hair going

Of course I cannot neglect the RX 78-2 who is the grandaddy of all the gundams. I think I bought this as a special anniversary edition. It pity it comes only with the beam rifle and shield.

Like my beam rifle?

Next is the Gundam Astray Red Frame from the Gundam Seed Astray series. I like this model for its sleek design. It is designed with minimal armour in order to boost its speed and agilty.

It can fight without its weapons too
Next up is the Duel Gundam with the Assault Shroud. The original Duel Gundam is actually very simple in terms of design. Then it was upgraded with the Assault Shroud which gives it much more improved firepower.

I'm a badass!

The missile hatch is opened!

Last but least for the day, is the SD Strike Freedom Gundam. It is very similar to the Freedom Gundam except for some improvements like the Dragoon system and the chest cannon. It is a very powerful unit as depicted in the Gundam Seed Destiny series. I like it when it made its entrance in the series as the whole battlefied seem to freeze in awe at the sight of it.

Look at its firepower!

the whole lot of them

That's all for now. Taking photos of all these SD kits really brings back memories for me when I was building them. Now from time to time, I will try to dig out my old models and post pics of them whenever I can.

  1. Astray never fails to impress in whatever the scale. However, the overall winner has got to be wing zero in this photo shoot man. ^^
